Industry and retail of consumer electronics, home appliances, mobile phones, furniture, housewares and IT attended the eleventh edition of Latin American Electronics & Eletrolar Show, held in São Paulo, from 18 to 21 last July, at the Transamerica Expo Center. In its four-day duration, the trade show received 26,000 visitors, who decide on the most important retailers, distributors and importers of South America.
The largest B2B event of consumer electronics and home appliances of Latin America opened by Lourival Kiçula, president of the National Association of Consumer Electronics Manufacturers (Eletros), Carlos Clur and Mariano Botindari, president and director of Grupo Eletrolar, respectively. “This Show is the main meeting of the sector,” said Clur. Kiçula, in turn, said the segment has, at the trade show, a great opportunity to see the launches of the industries. “So, the show has our support and we hope to solidify and continue growing more and more.”
Held in an unusual moment of economic life of the country, Latin American Electronics International Trade Show & Eletrolar show were a demonstration that work and perseverance give good results. Companies invested in the designs of their stands, considered positively their participation, and had business opportunities from day one to last. They also praised the initiative of Grupo Eletrolar, the organizer, to sponsor the arrival of buyers from Brazil and South America. Although the space was lower compared to 2015, the fair presented 600 brands and 10 000 products and the trade show closed with excellent business and high expectations for 2017.
